Meet the Surgeon

Dr. Kimberly Boswell graduated from the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine, in 1994. After a one-year surgical and internal medicine internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City, Dr. Boswell completed a three-year surgical residency at Tufts University College of Veterinary Medicine and Angell Memorial Animal Hospital, in Massachusetts.

Dr. Boswell became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2002.

Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Boswell moved to southwestern Michigan. She previously worked in an emergency hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan, for more than 16 years. During that time, Dr. Boswell has been performing advanced level surgeries on patients that have been referred from veterinarians all across southwest Michigan.

Instead of having owners travel distances to see her, Dr. Boswell has become a mobile veterinary surgeon and is bringing her surgical expertise to the local animal hospitals in Southwestern Michigan. Referring veterinarians have the opportunity to have Dr. Boswell come directly to their hospital to take care of their special patients.
